Floods in Loire-Atlantique: Firefighters overworked

The torrential rains that fell in Loire-Atlantique this Sunday, June 20, gave the department's firefighters a hard time. Several towns were affected, including Nantes, Rezé, Vertou, Bouaye, Saint-Julien-de-Concelles, Le Loroux-Bottereau, Saint-Colomban, La Chevrolière, and Saint-Philibert-de-Grandieu. Firefighters mainly responded to flooding in cellars and garages.

Situations that could be limited or even avoided through anticipation. By having an OBLOC® flood barrier kit at home, there is a good chance of avoiding flooding . Installed in just a few minutes, OBLOC® flood bags and sausages are a real barrier against flooding and do not require any equipment to be installed.
