Our OBLOC® absorbent protective barriers are the result of our expertise.

These flood, leak, and water damage prevention bags and sock liners combine woven fabric and super-absorbent polymers. This combination of materials can capture more than 20 liters of liquid with just 200 grams of product.

These lightweight, ultra-thin devices expand up to 24 times in volume when activated by water. This technology, developed by our experts, blocks and diverts water and mud during a flood . To facilitate post-disaster cleanup, this innovation also absorbs aqueous liquids in the event of a leak or water damage.

“After 15 years in the polymer chemistry industry, I created APROTEK in 2013. Our mission is to solve the problems of managing liquids, polluted and contaminated waste, particularly construction site sludge.

Having personally experienced several water-related disasters, I realized that there was no effective means of protection against flooding and water damage on the market. Just like fire extinguishers, we want everyone to have effective means of fighting against water .

After 3 years of imagining, conceptualizing, formulating, and then testing numerous prototypes in our laboratory, our OBLOC® devices were born. We are designing the tools of tomorrow to respond to climate change and enable everyone to protect their property.
